Ashley Brett Chipman is a set decorator in film and television based in Brooklyn, New York. She loves the feeling of being completely lost in a film while sitting in a dark theater with an audience. She's spent much of her professional life exploring the effect of atmospheres and environments on characters and narratives. Her sets create visually rich worlds that tell the story of its characters through objects, colors, and textures. She adores the collaborative nature of filmmaking and the teams she gets to work with. She received her MFA in film at University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and her BA at the University of Virginia in film and computer science.
